In the fall of 2005, about 120 young professionals came together at the Country Club of Ithaca for a night of networking, tasty hors d’eouvres, drinks, raffles, and to learn more about this new organization that calls itself [ithaca Forward]. 2005 Chairman of Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce Board, Alan Pederson, was our keynote speaker. This event sparked a lot of media attention from our local newspapers and at least one regional TV station.
