(Community) If you are a young professional that has been touched by cancer, empower yourself and join the [ithaca Forward] Relay For Life team! Relay is an overnight event to honor survivors, remember loved ones we've lost and raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Relay will be held at the Lansing High School Track from July 13-14. This year's Relay theme is A Decade of Hope!! Honoring the decade we all grew up in; we will be decorating our booth and showcasing attire from the big-hair, roll up your jeans, wear two socks era of the 1980's. If you can remember the Smurfs, the Dukes of Hazzard, metal lunch boxes, Pac-Man, Atari, My Little Pony, Mr. T, Nintendo, The Care Bears, Alf, GI Joe, Heathcliff, The Breakfast Club, the Goonies, Ghostbusters, etc., then you belong on our team!!

Midnight Networking Cruise PDF Print E-mail
[ithaca Forward]’s very first event captured the attention of many. Just over 60 young professionals hopped aboard the MV Manhattan to enjoy a Midnight Networking Cruise in August of 2005. Worried that networking might not happen quickly, the board had a scavenger hunt game ready to push folks to talk with each-other & expand their circles. By the end of the evening, it was 30 minutes after the boat docked before we were able to get the last of the attendees off of the boat. Needless to say, we were no longer concerned about people connecting and meeting new people!
