Sponsored by Elmira Savings Bank and organized by [ithaca Forward], the Tompkins County [40u40] is a premier awards event honoring Tompkins County's most prominent business and community leaders under the age of 40. Other sponsors include Cayuga Medical Center, Black Box Computer Consulting and Finger Lakes Media Strategies. The event will recognize 40 young professionals who demonstrate a measurable impact in their communities, professions and/or schools. The selected 40 individuals will represent the best that this area has to offer.

This inaugural event is taking place Wednesday, May 21st at Celebrations, located at 2331 Slaterville Road. The event will begin at 5:30 PM with a cash bar cocktail hour and dinner will commence at 6:30 PM. Dress for the evening will be business/formal. The cost to attend is $45 for [ithaca Forward] Movers, Shakers, the first guest of an awardee and $60 for [ithaca Forward] Thinkers, Non-Members, & additional guests.
