Younger, upwardly mobile professionals (and their older parents) are prime targets for investment fraud. Investment fraud takes many forms, from “pump and dump” stock schemes and “viatical” scams, to the sale of high cost investment and retirement products. In this seminar, to be conducted by Professor William A. Jacobson, Director of the Cornell Securities Law Clinic, you will learn the warning signs of investment fraud, how to avoid becoming a victim, and what to do if you or a family member has been defrauded.

Cost for this event is $5 for Movers & Shakers & $10 for Thinkers & non-members.

This seminar will take place in the Borg Warner Conference Room at the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, 904 East Shore Drive, Ithaca.

Due to technical problems, please email your reservation to reception@tompkinschamber.org. Please be sure to state what event you are registering for and include a phone number so we can call you for payment.
